The first budget of the re-elected Modi government will feature historic steps and significant economic decisions.
Budget for Inclusive Prima City On July 23 (1) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will probably present the Union Budget on July 23. President Droupadi Murmu announced that she signed a proposal to convene Parliament from July 22 till August 12. This is the first budget of re-elected Modi government. President Murmu said the Budget will comprise of history measures and big decisions. Re-elected for a third term, the BJP-led NDA faces an important Budget session. In the February interim budget Sitharaman had lowered fiscal deficit target to 5.1% of GDP. The pre-budget consultations also featured meetings of economists, trade unions and industry observers and state finance ministers. This comes after PM Modi promised bold decisions upon his third term.
