Terrorist Attack Foiled in Jammu and Kashmir, Soldier Injured

A terrorist attack on an Army post in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, was foiled, leaving one soldier injured; gunfight ongoing.


According to official sources, a (IB) input was received that terrorists were planning an attack on an Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir or behind sent as Hindu pilgrims at the Amarnath Cave. The attack took place between 4 am and 5 am at Gundha area of Rajouri following which a cordon and search operation was launched. A military source said a gunbattle was underway with the attackers.
