The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection agency (HYDRA) has brought down parts of the N-Convention Centre belonging to the Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna for alleged encroaching on the Full Tank Level (FTL) area of Tummidikunta lake. This is because the convention centre is approximately 10-acre large and has about 1. Twelve acres of the total area are located within the range of the Lake’s buffer. This had been engaging couples for their wedding receptions, and other corporate functions.

The demolition drive started early on saturday with senior officials from HYDRA visiting the site with police in tow for the purpose of executing the demolition drive. Subsequently, Nagarjuna challenged the demolition arguing as unlawful as the centre did not was not established under the terrorism of the act. He vowed to fight the demolition in court stating that he never received any prior notice of the same.

Recently on X (formerly Twitter) Nagarjuna condemned the act of demolition claiming that there are stay orders and court cases that should have halted the act. He explained that it has this patta land and according to that it has not bypassed the tank area.

After this Nagarjuna sought legal help and got stay order from Telangana High Court which stopped further demolition at the film stamp. The order was passed by the Justice T Vinod Kumar of court in its interlocutory proceedings.
