The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday declared its third list of 29 candidates for the upcomming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. The party has put up Devinder Singh Rana of Nagrota who has been assuming the role of opposition Independents.

The BJP has given ticket to Baldev Raj Sharma for the Mata Vaishno Devi seat. Earlier, Rohit Dubey was given ticket from this seat but that first list was withdrawn Then in the second list also the seat was left for this party but that list was also withdrawn.
In the first list released on Monday, the saffron party announced 15 candidates for the seats where polls will be held in phase-1 on September 18. The BJP that enjoys dominance in the Jammu region has also nominated candidates for some of the seats in the valley particularly in Pampore, Shopian, Anantnag West and Anantnag.
