We are monitoring the situation: Jaishankar Press coverage was dominated by questions over whether Pakistan may have played a role, as officials launched an investigation into the social media account of one Pakistani diplomat. It also informed some MPs that an escape to India by Hasina and potential asylum in the UK were under consideration - as was continuing contact between the government and interim Bangladeshi authorities led by a Bangladesh Army who seized power.
