While reacting to the charges, former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal unleashed a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi charging him of plotting to besmirch AAP’s image saying the outsider wanted to get Kejriwal and AAP branded as corrupt. Delivering a speech in an open rally, Kejriwal said Modi has again conspired to tarnish the image of him and AAP leaders, Sisodia including by plotting to stop AAP from achieving their goals in Delhi; free electricity water and quality education.
The AAP supremo, Kejriwal, resigned as the chief minister after getting arrested in the excise policy scandal case but later released on bail later also declared that he will shift out from the CM residence and shortly will start living in one of the supporter’s house. He scorned the ongoing legal case, and said he is ashamed of carrying the label of dishonest while the record of his governance remains clean.
Addressing the gathering during his speech, Kejriwal accused the BJP and Modi of constantly topple governments through investigative agencies. He also posed questions to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwant that whether RSS had ever tried to prevent Modis wrong doings. Also, he highlighted that, on the one hand, BJP has a leadership retirement policy that previously retired such top leaders as LK Advani, while Modi is an exception.
They also asked Kejriwal how come leaders of BJP that had been accused of corruption by Modi had joined the party, thus criticizing their stand against corruption as a bluff. He urged the public to reflect on who the real culprits are: I believe him or those who imprisoned him.
