Haryana assembly elections will begin in October where the BJP has declared the first list of 67 candidates. Prominent faces in the list are Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for Ladwa, Gian Chand Gupta for Panchkula besides Anil Vij for Ambala Cantt and Kanwar Pal Gurjar for Jagadhri, Sunita Duggal for Ratia, Bhavya Bishnoi for Adampur and Tejpal Tanwar for Sohna.

Former Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar has said that most of the candidates have been given tickets. He also said that the Evaluation will commence soon and will take a form of nomination that will last until 12th of September. The rest of the candidates are believed to be concluded and released in the next several days.
The Haryana state is to have its polls on October 5 and the results are likely to be declared on October 8. The announcement by the BJP for holding the elections for its leaders is a major communication strategy in this regard since it aims at increasing its control on the state.
