Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge passed unconscious during a rally in Kathua in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday while addressing the public. Although it was a small ailment, Kharge was back on the microphone, to warn that he will not die until Modi is out of office as the Prime Minister. In a very low tone, Kharge said that when the Congress-National Conference alliance comes to power they will ensure that the region is freed from terrorism. Kharge briefly stopped riding in the Lok Sabha due to dizziness but he was attended to by his team and later examined by doctors present on the ground. His health status has relatively changed for the better soon after getting treatment.
It said 83-year old Kharge had comforted his supporters saying that he would not abandon his duties until Modi is ousted, for which he said sorry to his fans for abruptly falling sick. He had been paying tribute to a head constable who died in a recent operation against terrorists in Kathua, where two other police personnel were injured, and one terrorist was killed.
J&K Congress vice president Ravindra Sharma said that Kharge was shaken when he was talking about, the martyrs but he regain his composite self in asserting that his party was committed to eradication of terrorism from J&K. Sharma elaborated the psychological effect of violence, especially being an Indian politics Kharge.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called an demanded Kharge to tell about what he felt after the accident, Modi wished him to recover soon. Congress leaders, including party vice-president Priyank Kharge, said that the Congress president was reported to be out of danger after being treated.
