CBI has for now targeted Sandip Ghosh the former principal of RG Kar Medical College for the alleged financial scams during his tenure. The man, also wanted in connection with recent rape and murder of a trainee doctor at the said institution, owns a two-story luxurious bungalow, a source added the knowledge by stating that it is located at South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. This was named Sangeetasandip Villa after Ghosh and his wife Sangeeta The property is surrounded With vast acres of empty land.
That is why local people expect that Ghosh often came here and built several farmhouses. ED is actually conducting raids under a bigger operation against RG Kar Medical College for some financial offences during Ghosh as the Dean. These raids have been conducted towards Ghosh’s home and every other properties that belongs to his family.
The ED has registered an ECIR which is comparable to a criminal FIR Based on this the accused Ghosh is still in the custody of the CBI.
