The government has sacked Puja Khedkar from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) position after her UPSC selection was nullified Khedkar was reportedly falsely claimed to have sought reservation benefits in the Civil Services Examination 2022. UPSC slapped a life-long ban on her examination career after she refuted the allegations. However, the Delhi Police opposed her anticipatory bail application pleading that she forged disability certificates. However, Khedkar offered to have herself checked by the doctors of AIIMS in order to support her unaided claims. Authorities suspect that the certificates were fake, and have said they did not issue them as claimed by the aftermath certificate.
