BJP president J. P. Nadda on Thursday fired a salvo at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge for writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the Congress leadership has a history of no respect for the Prime minister. Kharge had said that he was concerned over a BJP MLA threatening Rahul Gandhi with death and a junior minister calling him a ‘terrorist’.

To counter the attack, Nadda said that the letter was written by Kharge out of ‘‘political convenience’’ to push the agenda of Rahul Gandhi stating him to be a ‘‘failed product. ’’ Solution: He remembered the “maut ka saudagar” comment made by Sonia Gandhi and alleged that the Congress has deployed more than 110 objectionable adjectives for Modi in the last one and half decade.

Nadda criticised Rahul’s leadership arguing that he supports anti-national forces and splits society on caste bases. He mentioned the alleged statements of Rahul which supports Pakistan and terrorism but condemned Indian policies. Nadda also pointed to Congress leaders Shashi Tharoor, Digvijaya Singh and others said they were involved in defaming the nation and creating regionalism.

In a bitter-souled conclusion, Nadda said that the Congress party has spread ‘casteism’ and was selling ‘anti-nationalism’ under the brand of Rahul Gandhi. He called upon Kharge and the Congress party into reflection of their moves and approach, while adding that he appreciated they may have got answers to their questions by now.
