The AAP’s chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal said that he will resign from his post in the next two days and a new chief minister from AAP will be sworn in. Kejriwal wanted the Delhi assembly elections which were to take place in February should have taken place in November along with the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections.

Kejriwal said that he will not resume the Chief Minister’s office until the people of Delhi pass their verdict again stating that AAP will not let Manish Sisodia continue as the Deputy even he is a successful candidate of the liquor policy scam case.

The AAP chief targeted the central government insisting that it wanted to bring down AAP by sending him to jail as the British used to do. He said that he has the backing of the Supreme Court ordering the release of the government power to enable him to run the government from behind the bar noting that the party is still very much intact.

In the days to come the AAP will choose a new chief minister It was again stated by Kejriwal that the early elections will be conducted at the earliest in November and Kejriwal promised to come back to the office only after facing the public again.
