Modi Highlights India’s Tech Potential at CEO Roundtable

 Narendra Modi met with Technology CEOs from America and participated with Google, Adobe and IBM at the MIT event in New York. The discussion was centered around forging progress in systems related to such areas as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and biotechnology. 


On his Twitter account, Modi expressed his confidence insisting that the meeting was fruitful he pointed to India’s technological advancements. Notable executives present at the event were Sundar Pichai of Google, Shantanu Narayen of Adobe, Arvind Krishna of IBM, Lisa Su of AMD and Noubar Afeyan of Moderna. The Prime Minister underlined India’s dynamics as a hub for innovation and innovation sources for the global market and requested the American giants to consider India to be their market.


Modi while addressing the Indian community in the US used the term AI to mean American-Indian spirit to underscore the closeness of the relations between the two countries. He thanked the U.S. President Joe Biden for his warm hosting when he recently invited him to his home in Delaware stating that he did it for all Indians at home and in the U.S.


There is the “Summit of the Future” which will take place at the United Nations General Assembly and Modi will be delivering a speech the same day before returning to India.
