Addressing his first poll meeting for the Haryana assembly polls, the PM said the Congress was the ‘most dishonest political party’ in the country and the leadership of the party he deemed as a ‘corrupt dynasty’.

Modi cited the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh and blamed it for Orwellian practices of making false promises, holding up work and not being able to even pay employees’ wages. He also pointed to Karnataka where roughly 1,200 farmer suicides have allegedly taken place during Congress regime called the party anti-farmer.

He went further and accused congress of being anti-Dalit and anti-farmer, their plots, he said are to remove reservation for the marginalised if they regain power.

The polling in Haryana for its 90 assembly seats will be held on October 5 for which the results will be declared on October 8.
