PM Modi Turns 74, Unveils Welfare Schemes and Major Infrastructure Projects in Bhubaneswar

Today is Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday, and PM celebrates his leadership; new initiatives were launched. In Bhubaneswar, he launched 26 lakh PM Awas Yojana houses stressing the need affordable houses for the underprivileged sections of the society. Modi will also be interacting with the beneficiaries of the scheme in the Gadakana slum area which shall further instill the sense of the government’s commitment towards the uplift of the poor. 

 

 He will then inaugurate the Subhadra Yojana at Janata Maidan where he will grant 10,000 Rupees per year to more than one crore poor women for five years. He will also lay foundations of infrastructure projects such as new railway projects worth Rs 2,871 crore and highway projects that value Rs 1,000 crore to augment the regional integration. 

 

 Top political personalities like Tripura’s CM Manik Saha and Maharashtra’s CM Eknath Shinde expressed their support to the Modi’s vision for India’s development. Sudarsan Pattnaik the well-known sand artist of India also paid his tribute to him by making a sand sculpture on him dedicated to the dream of Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat’. 

 

 This year’s birthday falls close to the “BJP’s Seva Parv”, a festival the BJP organizes for two weeks with Modi’s sarkar’s “seva-oriented” policies and principles in mind. Prior birthday celebrations have witnessed major activities such as Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana, the inauguration of India International Convention Centre and subsequent reintroduction of cheetahs at Kuno National Park.
