Stree 2 Continues Box Office Domination, Nears ₹600 Crore Mark Domestically

Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 keeps on doing well at the box office, but collections have slowed down. The horror-comedy which starred Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao contributed ₹ 1. Hindi topping ₹ 55 crore on its fifth Thursday taking its India tally to ₹ 56 crore.  As expected for a Stree 2 movie, which was produced with a rather low ₹50 crore budget, the movie is doing exceedingly well. Its first week box office collection is ₹307. Crore, which were ₹80 crore and ₹145 respectively. ” 62 crore in the second week, ₹72. 83 crore in the third, and ₹ 37. january- march, 2008 at Rs. 50 crore, ap- ril –june, 2008 at Rs. 65 crore, july –september, 2008 at Rs. 75 crore in the fourth.  The success of Stree 2 has catch the eye of the industry, YRF has congratulated the team for redefining the benchmark. Now as the movie inches closer to ₹ 600 crore of collections inside the country; fans wait for the sixth weekend to see if the film can cross another figure again.
