The Delhi High Court had dismissed Kumar application to quash his arrest last month. Kumar wanted that his arrest is unlawful under section 41A of the CrPC. The Delhi Police countered that they acting legally and arrested Kumar in the legal manner. The Supreme Court later on raised eyebrows over the incident, wondered over the happenings at the Chief Minister’s residence and severely condemned Kumar.
