Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT Nears Rs 250 Crore in India, Surpasses Rs 400 Crore Globally in 13 Days

Kollywood’s latest Thalapathy Vijay starrer, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) keeps trending at the Indian box office. It may be noted that after getting released the movie has grossed Rs 226 within 13 days only. Domestically, Sanjay Leela Bhansalis’ production company has earned Rs 60 crore here and can achieve Rs 250 crore mark shortly. Golmaal Again has done the best business it raked in Rs 44 crore on its first day, it had a very good weekend collection, and its first week collection was approximately Rs 178 crore. In the second week also it had a good going collecting Rs 7 crore in 13 days. 

 

 While the Hindi version of GOAT it was at 34 and the Telugu and Malayalam versions are at 33. On its second Tuesday, the cinema had fifteen % occupancies and the top three are Trichy, Dindigul, and Pondicherry. The Hindi dubbed version of Thalapathy Was titled Thalapathy Is The GOAT which had an occupancy of 14%. 35% however Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Lucknow contributed on large scale to it’s revenues. 

 

 Sustained by the direction of Venkat Prabhu, GOAT is a film starring Vijay in two avatars; as a former SATS agent and a cop who has to fight all of his past challenges with the help of his team. The film also has Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Sneha in the cast of the film and many more. The movie GOAT which was released globally on September 5 has grossed Rs 407. Its cash deposits have been $ 85 crore per 13 days worldwide. 

 

 This action-thriller is one of the last Thalapathy Vijay movies before entering into politics as announced and people still flock to watch it.
