Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT Opens with Rs 43 Crore, Mixed Reviews

The latest movie starring Thalapathy Vijay, referred to as The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) has a good start at the Indian box office with earning Rs 43 crore on the opening day. Again, most of the earning were through Tamil program which had generated Rs 38. Cr respectively and the Telugu version and Hindi version collecting Rs 3 crore and Rs 1 crore respectively. 7 crore, respectively. Although its Hindi version was not released in prominent multiplex chains like PVR, Inox and Cinepolis owing to guidelines the film did well. 

 

 Another movie GOAT which was directed by Venkat Prabhu has Thalapathy Vijay in a dual role as Gandhi who is a Special Anti-Terrorist Squad agent. The film was received mixed reviews for its simplicity of plot as a concept which was complimented with performances by Vijay. Using the Indian currency it was slightly lower than Rs 64. Opening set at 8 crore which was set by Vijay’s previous film Leo.
