The BJP has recently put Union Home Minister Amit Shah as well as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav as the observers of the Haryana after the party won the state elections for the third successive time. The BJP won 48 of the require 90 seats and retained the control over power.
The AAP’s nominated candidate Nayab Singh Saini is likely to become the second-term Chief Minister of Haryana on October 17. The oaths are planned for 10 a.m., at Parade Ground in Panchkula with Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the event. Other state’s Chief Ministers and senior BJP leaders will also be participating.
Saini, who spearheaded this BJP, when contacted by ANI admitted that PM Modi and other leaders of the party will be there. Saini will be sworn in officially as the leader of the BJP’s legislative party before the meeting called before the ceremony.
The state chief secretary has formed a 10-member committe headed he Panchkula District Commissioner for organizing the event.
Saini assumed the CM’s office in March after replacing incumbent Manohar Lal Khattar and coming from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), an influential voting bloc in Haryana. Earlier, the BJP had suggested that even otherwise Saini would continue to be the BJP’s candidate for the e post in case of BJP victory in the elections.
