'Devara: Part 1' Nears Rs 200 Crore at Box Office

'Devara: Devara: Part 1 is racing to surpass 200 crores at the box office.


Jr NTR's latest release, Devara: Jr NTR's film stays at the forefront of attendance at the cinema and approaches Rs 200 crore. The film's vibrant audience has maintained its pace despite a dip after the first weekend. The film pulled in Rs 82.5 crore on its debut and has become Rs 186.65 crore in India over five days. On Saturday it earned Rs 38.2 crore while on Sunday it took in Rs 39.9 crore and Monday brought in Rs 12.75 crore and Tuesday brought in Rs 13.50 crore.


Ahead of the Gandhi Jayanti holiday today expecting to elevate Wednesday's earnings the film is expected to surpass Rs 200 crore soon. In Hyderabad and other cities like Visakhapatnam and Chennai the film is really popular.


Globally, Devara: According to Manobala Vijayabalan the film has earned Rs 300 crore so far. In the 1980s and 1990s time-frame Devara embarks on a challenging voyage to shield his family. Jr NTR essays two characters: Devara and Varadha.


Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: In numerous languages such as Hindi and Telugu the first installment launched on September 27. As a stand-alone film at first the project transformed into two chapters for a more detailed plot.
