Police arrested people from factory of Mephedrone and its related chemicals from Bhopal with worth Rs 1,814 crore, said Gujarat’s Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi. The major sting operation was conducted by the Gujarat ATS and the NCB, Delhi.
Sanghavi, tweeted on October 6 about and congratulated Gujarat ATS and NCB(Operations) of Delhi, for a big achievement in the war against drugs! He highlighted strong commitment by police in fighting drug material supply vowing that the war is a continuing endeavor to protect health and security of society.
This seizure is among the biggest within the latest drugs busts conducting over 560 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kilograms hydroponic marijuana in a graphics equal to Rs 5,620 crore in a south Delhi godown. The probe into that drug racket, which was conducted by the Delhi Police, has exposed a cross-border network, covering both London and Dubai, for instance.
MHowever, the main accused in Delhi drug racket Tushar Goyal was arrested and after carrying out deeper probe, another accused Virendra Basoya formulating a huge drug racket operational from Dubai was unearthing. His name was linked to a prior drug seized in Pune to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore of ‘Meow Meow’ drugs case.
